Agreement to These Terms
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Innovation Hub Studio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales ("Company", "we", "us"), governing your use of the RadioLive mobile application ("the App").
By downloading, installing, or using the App, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age and that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under UK law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
The Service
RadioLive provides access to a directory of third-party internet radio streams aggregated from publicly available sources, including the Radio Browser open-source database. We do not own, operate, or control any of the radio stations or audio content accessible through the App.
We make no warranty as to the continuous availability, quality, accuracy, or legality of any third-party stream. Station availability is subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time.
Subscriptions, Purchases, and Billing
The App is offered in three tiers:
- Free tier — access to all stations supported by third-party advertising (Google AdMob). No charge.
- Monthly subscription (£0.49/month) — removes all advertising. Billed monthly in advance via your Google Play or App Store account.
- Lifetime licence (£4.99 one-time payment) — permanently removes advertising with a single purchase. This is a one-time charge, not a subscription.
Subscriptions: Your monthly subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You may cancel at any time via your Google Play or App Store account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; no partial refunds are issued for unused time within a billing period, except where required by law.
Price changes: We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any price increase before it takes effect, and your subscription will not renew at the new price without your explicit consent where required by applicable law.
All payments are processed exclusively by Google LLC (Google Play) or Apple Inc. (App Store). We do not handle payment card data. Billing disputes must be directed to the relevant platform operator.
Refund Policy
Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from digital content purchases, unless you have expressly consented to the immediate provision of the digital content and acknowledged that your right of withdrawal is thereby lost.
By initiating a purchase and confirming access to the premium features, you expressly request immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the digital content has been made available to you.
Notwithstanding the above, refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis where the App has materially failed to perform as described. To request a refund, contact us at contact@innovationhubstudio.co.uk within 30 days of purchase. Refunds may alternatively be requested directly from Google Play or the App Store in accordance with their refund policies.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code of the App, except to the extent permitted by law.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security-related features of the App, including features that enforce subscription restrictions.
- Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access or scrape the App or any data it provides.
- Redistribute, sublicense, sell, or otherwise transfer the App or any rights therein to any third party.
Intellectual Property
The App, including its source code, design, user interface, graphics, and all associated intellectual property, is owned by Innovation Hub Studio Ltd and is protected by UK and international intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial use, in accordance with these Terms. No other rights are granted.
Audio content streamed through the App is owned by the respective station operators and broadcasters. We claim no ownership of any third-party content.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components, or that defects will be corrected. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content available through the App.
Nothing in this clause excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Innovation Hub Studio Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or loss of goodwill.
Our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or £10.00, whichever is greater.
These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow exclusion or limitation of certain damages; in such cases our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Third-Party Links and Content
The App may provide access to third-party content, websites, or services. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. We encourage you to review the terms and privacy policies of any third-party services you access.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms. Upon termination, your licence to use the App ceases immediately.
You may terminate your use of the App at any time by deleting it from your device. Termination does not entitle you to a refund except as provided in clause 4 above.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the App.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise.
We are committed to resolving complaints fairly and promptly. If you have a complaint, please contact us in the first instance at contact@innovationhubstudio.co.uk. If we are unable to resolve your complaint, you may refer it to an alternative dispute resolution body.
